FIELD: agriculture, food-processing, mining industry, metallurgy, and construction materials industry. SUBSTANCE: separator has housing, receiver, fraction receiver, separating surface made in the form of truncated cone defined by rods or profiled angled members which are pivotally joined with their one ends to sleeve, while their other ends are in contact with guides mounted at predetermined pitch on pulley. Rods and angled members may have uniform section or their section or width of strips may be increasing in the direction of discharge end of separating surface. Sleeve and pulley are put onto vertical shaft so that their position along shaft may be changed. Pulley is joined to sleeve and housing through flexible members. Upper initial position of sleeve on shaft is set by means of adjusting nut. EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing adjustment of size of ready product without replacement of working tools and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 3 dwg
