FIELD: gas analysis technologies.
SUBSTANCE: method for measuring partial oxygen pressure in gases by means of oxygen-ionic hard-electrolyte cell includes electro-chemical extraction of oxygen from pressurized comparison chamber, generation of certain partial pressure of oxygen in comparison chamber by letting through the hard-electrolyte cell of certain amount of electricity and measuring of EMF of aforementioned hard-electrolyte cell. In alternating order to working electrode of cell two checking gas mixtures are sent with different content of oxygen, by means of which working temperature of cell is determined, while following electro-chemical extraction of oxygen is performed by feeding no more than 0,8 V onto the cell.
EFFECT: improved precision of measurements.
