FIELD: the invention refers to the field of gas analysis and may be applied in analytical instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: the arrangement for measuring of the concentration of oxygen in gases has a potentiometer hard electrolyte cell constructively fulfilled out of two chambers divided with hard electrolyte in the shape of a membrane with plotted on its surface electrodes out of platinum, a measuring instrument of electric motion force connected to the platinum electrodes, a coulomb-metric hard electrolyte cell and a source of inert gas with a known concentration of oxygen. The analyzed gas is passed through one of the chambers of the potentiometer hard electrolyte cell and the inert gas after the coulomb-metric hard electrolyte cell is passed through another chamber. At that the concentration of oxygen in the investigated gas is defined according to the concentration of oxygen in the inert gas and the concentration of oxygen created by the current of oxygen transfer through the coulomb-metric hard electrolyte cell, taking into consideration the consumption of the inert gas passed through it at the condition that the electric motion force on the electrodes of potentiometer hard electrolyte cell equals to zero.
EFFECT: increases accuracy of measuring of the concentration of oxygen in gases in the range from 1 10-6 to 100%.
