FIELD: ultrasound-based non-destructive materials tests.
SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic-acoustic transformer is provided with at least one electric signals amplifier, which signals appear in coils of inductiveness during their interaction with secondary electromagnetic waves generated as a result of ultrasound oscillations of metal layers in constant magnetic field under effect of probing electromagnetic pulses of high frequency. Furthermore, electric signals amplifier, having an electric connection to inductiveness coils, can be made, for instance, in form of micro-circuit based on crystals, while in amplifier from portion of magnetic flow representing a dissipation flow, crossing amplifier, current is induced, by direction and value being added to current appearing in inductiveness coils.
EFFECT: improved sensitivity of transformer.
