FIELD: metallurgy, namely refractory casting pipe unit arranged on nozzle of reservoir with melt metal.
SUBSTANCE: refractory unit includes at least one vertical refractory section joined to intermediate reservoir and horizontal refractory section extending from it. One or several openings are formed in horizontal refractory section and they are distributed along its length. Said horizontal refractory section is divided by means of partition by lower and upper chambers. End portion of nozzle of vertical refractory section is arranged in lower chamber. There are openings in partition for discharging melt.
EFFECT: uniform distribution of melt along the whole length of casting rollers.
