FIELD: testing technology; designing and optimization of spacecraft.
SUBSTANCE: proposed stand includes loading electric motor connected with standard drive of solar battery by means of sectional shaft, meters for measuring torque at electric motor output and angle of turn of shaft. Mounted between stand and body of drive is additional torque meter equipped with flexible sensitive element whose output is connected with computer input. Body of drive is secured to mounting plate through this sensitive element. Sensitive element is made in form of radial spring and stop secured on body of drive; one end of this spring is rigidly secured to mounting plate forming flexible shaft together with stop. Spring may be selected for each specific range of torque on flexible shaft of sensor.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of simulating action of solar battery on spacecraft.
