FIELD: technologies for diagnosing condition of soils of technical systems, in particular, soil technical system "upper road construction - ground layer - foundation" under effect from negative factors: vibro-dynamic, native oscillations of soil technical systems, natural and weather factors, man-caused static factors and the like.

SUBSTANCE: method for diagnosing supporting capacity of soils includes measuring threshold pressure while applying vibro-dynamic load, which is utilized to evaluate supporting ability of soils. In shoe-adjacent zone of soil technical system base indicators are mounted for measuring threshold pressure and temperature of steam-liquid phase of soils, both parameters are measured simultaneously, and maximum alteration value of both parameters is utilized to evaluate supporting capacity of soils. In case when threshold pressure alters for up to 0,1 kPa and temperature alters up to 0,015°C soils are considered stable, and if threshold pressure value changes for more than 0,1 kPa and temperature changes for more than 0,015°C - soils are considered unstable.

EFFECT: improved precision and trustworthiness of evaluation of supporting ability of soil technical system soils.
