FIELD: measuring equipment engineering, possible use for maintaining control over metrological characteristics of devices for measuring parameters of movement and direction of objects in space.

SUBSTANCE: for remote calibration method of acceleration meter included in composition of measuring transformer for calibration of acceleration meter, calibrating assembly is utilized included in composition of measuring transformer, and acceleration meter calibration process is performed periodically at position of measuring transformer mounting by altering position of acceleration meter in space and holding it relatively to four directions, while output signals of acceleration meter are measured, and calibrating parameters are calculated in accordance to appropriate formulae. Method is realized in device for remote calibration of acceleration meter included in composition of measuring transformer, including body and electronic circuit for processing acceleration meter signal. The latter additionally includes calibrating assembly in form of rotary platform, cam in form of heart-shaped curve, four locking devices, four springs and four electromagnets. Acceleration meter is positioned on rotary platform, on rotation axis of which cam in form of heart-shaped curve is held, to side surfaces of which four locking devices are pressed by springs, connected, respectively, to cores of four electromagnets, coils of which are rigidly held on the body.

EFFECT: possible automation of process for checking and calibrating acceleration meters, increased reliability and precision of transformers having aforementioned acceleration meters.
