FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: massager can be used for medicinal and sanitary-prophylactic massage. Massager has cylindrical massaging unit and two handles connected with unit. Handles are disposed along axis of the unit. Massager is provided with case made in form of plate. There is pin coming from one side of the plate. The pin has the rectangular cross-section and thread at its end. Thermo-active massaging member has cold and hot semi-cylinders which have protrusions at the ends. Massaging members are fixed at the case by means of caps one of which is made together with plate and the other one is made removable and is mounted onto pin and is provided with nut; handles are fixed to caps. Massaging member is made in form of air-proof container filled with heat-accumulating medium and with medium being capable of keeping cold. Different-shape protrusions are made onto working surface of massaging members. Additional temperature-contrast effect is provided.

EFFECT: widened functional abilities; improved therapeutic efficiency of massage.
