FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: massager can be used for medicinal and sanitary-prophylactic massage. Massager has cylindrical massage shaft with journals. Massaging members with spherical working surface are disposed onto shaft to follow staggered order; the members are oriented along radiuses. Shaft is mounted for rotation around axis between sides of brace onto which the handle is fixed. Longitudinal parallel T-shaped openings are made to be open at one end of removable massaging shaft. Removable "hot" and "cold" cylindrical massaging members provided with flanges are mounted in alternative order inside the openings in one row; massaging members can have any other shape than cylindrical. Side outputs of openings are closed by removable disc put onto journal. Massaging member can be used in form of air-proof container and it is filled with some known medium having high heat capacity or with medium being capable of keeping cold. For better comfort of usage the "cold" and 'hot" massaging members are painted in different colors. Combined and simultaneous mechanical and thermal contrast influence is provided by hot and cold massage members.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of massage.
