FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air cushion vehicles and to support with carrying surface for displacing air-cushion platform of sports and health resort application. Support is made in form of box with perforated upper plane to let out air delivered into inner space of box. Holes in upper plane of box communicate with its inner space through automatic valves. Space from one side of valve movable member communicates with hole in box upper plane, and space from other side of valve movable member communicates with atmosphere not subjected to pressure of air cushion. Ports on side wall of valve housing communicate with inner space of box. Movable member of automatic valve can be made in form of differential piston. Cylinder from one side from larger piston communicates with hole in upper plane of box, and cylinder from other side of larger piston communicates with atmosphere not subjected to pressure of air cushion. Ports on side wall of cylinder from one side from larger piston and cylinder from other side of larger piston communicate with inner space of box. Space from outer side of carrying surface of box communicates with its inner space through air jets. Box of support can be made of module design. Adjacent side faces of modules provide free displacement of air in inner space. Valves inside modules can be installed to provide mechanical coupling with upper plane of box by upper part, and mechanical coupling of lower part of valves with box bottom. The latter can be made in form of track of preset configuration for moving air-cushion platform with people and loads over track. Box can be made up of hollow modules, or in form of spatial skeleton covered by airtight material, for instance, technical cloth or polymeric film.
EFFECT: reduced energy consumption at operation of air-cushion platforms.
