FIELD: predatory animal catching equipment.

SUBSTANCE: wild animal catcher has pyrotechnic cartridge, striker and trigger mechanisms, and hitting head with bait, said parts of catcher being inserted into tube from the bottom to the top thereof. Hitting head is equipped with harpoon petals. Inner tube is mounted within outer tube, which has pyrotechnic cartridge retaining and gas flow baffling bottom arranged in lower part of outer tube. Inner rim is provided in upper part of tube for preventing inner tube from escaping and for enabling displacement thereof in upward direction by value equal to length of outer tube.

EFFECT: reduced weight and sizes of catcher, which does not need thorough masking, and also provision for instant killing of animal.
