SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of animal trapping. The trap for animal paw comprises a housing, a trigger mechanism, and a cord. The housing has a groove in the form of a trough. The trigger mechanism comprises a flat section, a hook and a spring. The spring consists of a coiled part and a lever. The free end of the lever is made arched. The arched end of the lever covers the plate of the trigger mechanism. The plate of the trigger mechanism is made in the form of a rim with the grid fixed in it. The first end of the cord is located along the lever and forms a sliding loop. The other end of the cord is fixed to the support. The arched end of the lever is provided with anchors to hold the sliding loop. The longitudinal axis of the housing groove is in the plane of the lever movement. The lever is made telescopic.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of animal trapping is provided.
