FIELD: devices for filtration of liquids containing sediments.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is intended for filtration and presents the continuous operation rotary drum filter used for filtration of liquids, such as solutions containing sediments (suspensions). The device contains: the cylindrical drum (16) with the horizontal shaft brought in rotation by the drive system (22); a set of the filtering components (60), each of which is orientated in the axial direction and forms at least a part of the cylindrical wall of the drum (16), at that each of the filtering components communicates with the withdrawal channel (62); the brought inside the drum system for feeding the liquid to be subjected to filtration; the sediment withdrawal system (36); the system of withdrawal of the filtrate passing through the indicated withdrawal channels (62); the liquid mediums feeding unit containing the link of supply of the pulsing air and a means of making the pointed fluid to pass through the filtering components (60). The liquid mediums feeding unit is made with a capability to communicate with the indicated withdrawal channels by a means of a connecting system, which allows to realize an angular distribution of operations performed by the filtering screen, including at least filtration of the liquid and removal of the sediment from the indicated filtering components by means of blowing out. The technical result of the invention is compactness, simplicity of operation and maintenance.

EFFECT: the invention ensures compactness of the design, simplicity of operation and maintenance of the continuous operation rotary drum filter for liquids containing sediments.
