SUBSTANCE: method comprises determining fluid flow rate through the space between the nozzle and gate in the steady-state condition for various initial spaces between the nozzle and gate and stepped variations of pressure drop at the hydraulic distributor for various values of the discharge and drain pressure, measuring the angle of rotation of the gate under the action of hydraulic and hydrodynamic forces, calculating areas of the flow section of the space between the nozzle and gate corresponding to the value of the rotation angle of the gate, and calculating the flow rate coefficient, compression factor of the flow, and the Reynolds number of the flow in the space between the nozzle and gate from the equations proposed, .
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy.
