FIELD: determination of characteristics of dimensionless parameters of working fluid flow rate in throttling ports of spool valve-type hydraulic distributors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in determination of working fluid flow rate under steady-state conditions at varying levels of back pressure being maintained and step-like differential in pressure in throttling ports of spool valve-type hydraulic distributor, motion of spring-loaded piston rotating at angular velocity determined by relationship given in Specification under action of hydrostatic and hydrodynamic forces acting on it, angle of efflux of working fluid in throttling ports which corresponds to magnitude of stroke of spool valve plunger with the aid of transparent model of spool valve-type hydraulic distributor, calculation of cross-sectional area wetted perimeter of throttling port corresponding to magnitude of stroke of spool valve plunger, flow compression factor and Reynolds number.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of determination of working fluid flow parameters.
