METHOD FOR PREDICTING THROMBOEMBOLISM COMPLICATIONS IN SETTING LARGE ARTICULATION ENDOPROSTHESIS OF LOWER EXTREMITIES Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61B5/02

Abstract RU 2272560 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves determining blood microcirculation flow level in the dynamics in early postoperative period. Thromboembolism complications are predicted if the level is higher than the background blood microcirculation flow level in vascular fascicle projection of the inguinal region by more than 120% when compared to preoperative period level; if the background blood microcirculation flow level in the middle one-third of femur and middle part of shin is reduced more than by 20% when compared to preoperative period level; if the background blood microcirculation flow level in the first toe is reduced more than by 10% when compared to preoperative period level; if the blood microcirculation flow level on the extremity under operation is reduced more than by 60% when compared to preoperative period level when carrying out breath-holding test; if no maximum microcirculation flow reduction is observed on extremity under operation in postoperative period when setting post-occlusion test; if maximum microcirculation flow level is below 6 ml/min/100 g in post-occlusion test; if maximum microcirculation flow level is achieved at the second minimum after occlusion; if maximum microcirculation flow time is greater than 45 s during the periods before and after operation; if mean increment of maximum microcirculation flow becomes less than 0.5 during the periods before and after operation and half-restoration time becomes reduced by more than 15% in postoperative period when compared to the value during preoperative period.

EFFECT: enabled early stage prognosis in postoperative period.
