SUBSTANCE: method involves removing pancreaticoduodenal complex with spleen. The spleen is taken from the removed pancreaticoduodenal complex with spleen. 1/3 of the organ is fragmented into pieces of 3.0x3.0x1.0 cm. Round liver ligament is dissected all over its length. The first portion of spleen tissue fragments to be implanted is distributed in the so formed sheath of the round liver ligament. Draining tube having a plurality of lateral holes is set. Round liver ligament and frontal abdominal wall peritoneum integrity is recovered. The second portion of spleen tissue fragments is distributed in preperitoneal cellular tissue. Draining tube having lateral holes is set. Sutures are placed layer-by-layer on the laparotomic wound. Antibacterial and antioxidant drugs are introduced into the draining tubes in postoperative period. Postpancreatoectomic insulin insufficiency correction is carried out by introducing required insulin dose. Insulin injections are cancelled at the tenth-twelfth day and no insulin insufficiency adjustment is applied any more.

EFFECT: prevented insulin insufficiency occurrence.
