SUBSTANCE: the typewriter has typewriter unit (11) of typewriter rod (10) positioned for retraction and drawing-in through hole (20). The hole is formed in the front part (30) of the typewriter body due to a shift of the control head (150). Component (200) for protection of the typewriter unit is made of synthetic rubber with a high chemical resistance, flexibility and compressibility and installed in the front part (30) of the typewriter body. Component (200) for protection of the typewriter unit has head (201) inserted in the inner lower zone of the front part (30) of the typewriter body. The end of the typewriter unit (11) is positioned for penetration to the upper surface of the head with a sealed closing of the end of the typewriter component. It comprises also a captured component (202) for withdrawing made integral with the lower surface of head (201) and open for action of ambient air on it through hole (20) for withdrawal and drawing-in.

EFFECT: prevented drying of ink and provided protection of the end of the typewriter.
