SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pantograph for an electric vehicle. The pantograph contains: a base, lower and upper movable frames, a lifting-lowering mechanism, a current-collecting unit. The base is attached through the support insulators to the roof of the vehicle. The lower movable frame is pivotally connected by bearing assemblies to the base and lower link. The upper movable frame is pivotally connected by bearing assemblies to the lower movable frame and the upper link. The current collection assembly includes a carriage. A skid is fixed on the carriage, through a torsion spring, which ensures the normative pressing of the skid on the contact wire. The carriage is made in the form of two rack linear guides with limit switches (reed switches). Linear guides set the trajectory of the skid and are interconnected by the upper and lower rods. The upper bar of the carriage, through the bearing assembly, is fixed on the upper movable frame. The lower rod of the carriage, through rolling bearings, is fixed on the upper link, which is made with the possibility of adjusting the angle of inclination of the carriage relative to the contact wire. The lifting and lowering mechanism of the movable frames includes an electric actuator. The actuator contains at least one limit switch. The actuator is installed between the base and the lower movable frame. The actuator is controlled by at least one limit switch to control the lifting height of the collector assembly relative to the contact wire.
