SUBSTANCE: invention relates to current collectors of vehicles. A current collector for an electric train contains a holder, a skid being in constant contact from below with a contact wire, a vertical cylindrical compression spring connecting the skid holder with the housing. In this case, the current collector contains two sliders that can move in a straight line, compression springs attached to them, and two rods that pivotally connect the sliders to the slide holder.
EFFECT: increasing the life of the current collector and improving the static and dynamic characteristics.
