FIELD: mechanical engineering; vehicle brake cylinders.
SUBSTANCE: proposed brake master cylinder of vehicle brake system has axially elongated housing with central longitudinal hole. At least one piston is fitted in hole with minimum radial clearance moving axially along two front and rear seals arranged in housing hole. Front seal forms front and rear chambers inside central hole of housing. Rear chamber communicates with brake fluid tank installed from outside through radial hole 42, 48 between two seals. In central longitudinal hole of housing before front seal front section of housing is found to direct piston, with at least one groove, which connects front chamber of cylinder with front seal and through which brake fluid passes from front chamber of cylinder to radial hole of housing connected with brake fluid tank when piston is moved backwards into initial position.
EFFECT: simplified machining of hole in housing and piston at manufacturing, improved operation characteristics of brake master cylinder.
