FIELD: automotive industry; pneumatic brake systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed pneumatic booster of brake contains piston and device to increase emergency braking force. Piston is arranged between control rod coupled with brake pedal and rod acting onto piston of brake master cylinder. Device is provided with cylindrical bushing made for sealed displacement in axial direction inside piston and being held in initial position by locking device. At speed of control rod exceeding definite value, cylindrical bushing gets released and recedes from locking ring of three-way valve, thus opening channel through which air gets into booster from atmosphere.
EFFECT: increased pressure at output of brake master cylinder at emergency braking at end of shock wave phase and reduced to mo minimum number of additional parts without considerable increase of overall dimension of booster.
