FIELD: aeronautical engineering; alighting gears of flying vehicles- seaplanes, amphibian aeroplanes, helicopters and ships.
SUBSTANCE: proposed adaptive float has displacement hull and load-bearing member to which displacement hull is secured. Displacement hull has at least two elastic pneumatic chambers, loaders and hydrodynamic bottom assembled from plates. These plates are secured on load-bearing member for control of dead-rise angles relative to axis of symmetry of float by means of loaders.
EFFECT: possibility of changing float configuration depending on conditions of interaction with medium.
