FIELD: aeronautical engineering; designing seaplanes and amphibians. SUBSTANCE: amphibian includes hull with planing steps, low-set displacement wing with swept back center section and tail unit. First planing step is located in front t of aircraft center of gravity for forming three-point hydro-planing. Leading edge of center wing section is made with extension more than 70 deg. Leading edge of center wing section is smoothly engageable with outer wing panel. Trailing edge has sweep back. Joint of center wing section with outer wing panels has similar section of planes of joint. Tail section of center wing profile is located on chine, drop keel being mounted before second planing step in lower portion of hull. EFFECT: improved seaworthiness and flight characteristics. 5 dwg
