FIELD: aeronautical engineering; securing cowls and fairings on flying vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed turnbuckle has body, lever with hook, latch and mating part of lock. Lock is additionally provided with catchers secured on mating part of lock; adjusting screws are mounted on bearing flats of catchers and coils with cylindrical bands are mounted at pivot axle of lever; adjusting screws rest against these bands. Head of hook is provided with ridge and latch is made in form of double-arm spring-loaded lever with roller mounted on one arm; this roller is used for locking lever on hook ridge.
EFFECT: ease in use; simplified construction; enhanced reliability.
