FIELD: rubber industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed splicing device contains feeder to deliver strips of cord to splicing unit, splicing unit to join strips of cord and device to remove spliced strips. Splicing unit has table for splicing and splicing machine located over splicing table. Feeder is made for delivering strips to splicing unit and it has first transport unit and second transport unit arranged on one line. First transport unit is made for delivering strips into second transport unit, and second transport unit is designed for delivering strips into splicing unit and is provided with inlet end and outlet end. Outlet end of second transport unit and splicing table are made for side displacement relative to each other, i.e. for displacement crosswise in direction of transportation.

EFFECT: improved quality of spliced cord strips owing to accurate alignment of strips, and increased capacity of device.
