FIELD: radio communications engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method intended for radio communications using passive repeaters and for communications in decametric waveband includes ionospheric propagation of radio waves between transmitter and receiver; functioning as passive repeater is dissipation of radio waves by earth surface; to this end, radio signal to be transmitted is radiated in direction of area where signal is intensively dissipated by earth which does not coincide with direction to correspondent whereto receiving antenna is oriented.

EFFECT: enhanced communication time in decametric band.
