FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; method of hot repair of converter lining.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes delivery of air-placed concrete mass and oxygen on side surface of unit over separate passages and control of consumption of air-placed concrete mass and oxygen. Simultaneously with delivery of air-placed concrete mass and oxygen neutral gas is fed to converter bottom and slag of previous melt is blown. Lance proposed for realization of this method includes concentric tubes forming separate passages for delivery and discharge of water, delivery of air-placed concrete mass and oxygen to side surface of converter and tip with nozzles. Lance is provided with passage and end unit with Laval nozzles for delivery of neutral gas to converter bottom; axisymmetrical cylindrical nozzles for delivery of air-placed concrete mass and oxygen are secured in coaxial vertical units with bores between nozzles; radial bores are made in end unit between nozzles at lower and upper levels and are connected by means of vertical bore and bores of upper lever are connected by means of tubes with cooling water discharge passage.

EFFECT: enhanced stability of converter lining.
