FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed here procedure refers to ferrous metallurgy, particularly to procedures of hot repair of lining of steel melting aggregates. The procedure consists in turn-down of the converter and in tapping metal subjected to oxidising blow-off, in leaving slag of preceding melt in the converter, in introducing carbonate materials and carbon containing fuel, in applying it on internal walls of the converter by means of supplying jets of neutral gas from top via a tuyere from an alternate height above the level of a quiet bath. Prior to and/or in the period of supplying jets of neutral gas from above on residual slag dolomite, carbon containing fuel and lime are introduced as carbonate materials and carbon containing fuel at ratio 1:(0.2-0.6):(0.4-0.6) correspondingly. Supply of neutral gas in the first period of 10-30 sec is performed at consumption rate 20-25m3/min·per t of retained slag of the preceding melt via the tuyere positioned at height of correspondingly 15-30 reduced calibres of tuyere nozzle diametre above the level of a quiet bath. Further, height of the tuyere is lowered to 7-12 reduced calibres of diametre of its nozzle. During 5…25 sec height of the tuyere is successively changed within the range 7-30 of reduced calibres of diametre of its nozzle. Consumption of neutral gas is maintained equal to 1.1-1.5 of consumption of gas of the first period.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of slag scull application on lining of converter.
