FIELD: building materials, particularly reinforcing elements for concrete.
SUBSTANCE: reinforcing mat comprises longitudinal and transversal wires welded one to another in cross-points. The mat comprises two end transversal wires arranged at mat edges so that transversal mat wires project beyond the end transversal wires. Each projected end is folded back on itself and forms wire loop, which is welded to end transversal wires. Central longitudinal wires arranged in central mat area are spaced apart equal axial distances. The central longitudinal wires have equal cross-sectional areas. End areas consisted of pair of parallel end longitudinal wires and end wire loops are crated at both longitudinal mat edges. Axial distances between end longitudinal wires are less than that between central longitudinal wires. Axial distance between inner end longitudinal wire and neighboring central longitudinal wire exceeds that between central longitudinal wires.
EFFECT: increased reinforcement quality.
