SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stitch production on gause used for paper production using device for stitch production. Device for stitch production consist of two parts. Each part has fastened edge fixed to gause at certain distance from corresponding end, and connecting edge. Fastened edge contains spiral and folded elements formed together with edge, or pre-formed spiral or folded elements, which are fixed to edge. By insertion of spiral and folded elements into gause surface interstices, they are fastened with wire or pins. Connecting edges on each part are connected with each other by bringing both gause ends together for further sewing.
EFFECT: simple and effective method of gause end fastening for further sewing.
