FIELD: central heat supply systems.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises measuring hot water temperature T_H at the outlet of the heat exchanger and maintaining it at a given level by changing the flow rate of heating water by means of a control member. According to the method, threshold value of the temperature of cold water T_CT, threshold value of the rate of changing of the temperature of cold water V_CT, and time delay interval t_d of the transient process of changing hot water temperature T_H are preliminary specified. The actual temperature of cold tap water T_C is then measured directly in the inlet branch pipe of the heat exchanger in each cycle of the operation of the system, and the rate of change V_C of the cold water temperature is determined from the formula V_C = (T_C ^k-1 - T_C ^k)/t_c, where T_C ^k-1 and T_C ^k are the temperatures of cold tap water measured in the previous cycle and current cycle, respectively, and t_c is the time interval of the cycle equal to 0.1-1 s. When V_C exceeds V_CT at temperature T_C higher than T_CT, the flow rate of the heating water is increased up to the maximum value for the time interval t_d by complete opening of the control member.
