FIELD: medicine, toxicology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biologically active supplements for food, namely to a biologically active supplement for reducing alcoholic dependence. Invention proposes a silimarin-base biologically active supplement wherein as silimarin source the thistle fruits dry extract comprising 30-70 wt.-% of silimarin is used. The supplement comprises additionally phospholipids in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: thistle fruits extract, 10-20, and phospholipids, 80-90. Biologically active supplement is used in form of liposomes. Invention provides expanding assortment of high-effective biologically active supplements possessing the broad spectrum of effect and preventing harmful effect of environment technogenic pollution factors on human body. Prepared biologically active supplement in liposome formulation decreases toxic effect of alcohol on human body and prevents development of somatic diseases caused by alcoholic intoxication.
