FIELD: medicine, narcology, phytotherapy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biologically active supplement with hepatoprotective properties used for reduction of alcoholic dependence. Biologically active supplement comprises components of vegetable origin consisting of kudzu (Pueraria) roots powder, kudzu extract, dandelion roots, Canadian golden-seal (Hydrastis) roots, aloe leaves, Gotu Kola, silymarin, gentian roots and pantothenic acid or calcium pantothenate, alpha-lipoic acid, N-acetylcysteine and L-glutathione taken in the mass ratio kudzu roots powder : kudzu extract from 1:0.16 to 1:0.625. The proposed biologically active supplement improves metabolic processes in body, allows to reduce synthesis of acetaldehyde as metabolite of ethanol, promotes to reduction of toxic effect of alcohol and prevention of the development of somatic diseases caused by alcoholic intoxication.
