FIELD: manufacture of cutting or percussion type tools made of steels different by alloying degree, joining hard-to-weld materials.
SUBSTANCE: method is realized in super-ductility temperature interval of metal with higher alloying degree. Method comprises steps of dividing heating procedure by preliminary heating stage with constant heating effort and leveling heating stage at pulse change of heating effort realized after achieving predetermined temperature in butt; selecting pulse heating parameters depending upon temperature leveling in zone of physical contact; intensively agitating metal in zone of physical contact for providing gradual transition of structure and properties from one blank to other.
EFFECT: enhanced quality and stability of welded joint of metals sensitive to overheating and to formation of quenching structures at air cooling, elimination of annealing after welding, lowered cost of welding operation.
