METHOD OF EXTRACTION OF THE NOBLE METALS Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC C22B11/00

Abstract RU 2274670 C2

FIELD: chemical industry; the technogenic methods of extraction of the noble metals in the apparatuses of the installations for production of various chemical products.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of chemical industry, in particular, to the method of extraction of the noble metals in the apparatuses of the installations for production of nitric acid. The technical result of the invention is the additional technogenic extraction of the noble metals in the apparatuses of the installations for production of nitric acid. The method of extraction of the noble metals is conducted in the apparatuses of the installations for production of nitric acid. In them conduct: catalytic oxidation of ammonia by an oxygen-containing gas with production of the nitrose gas containing nitrogen oxide II, a steam, oxygen and nitrogen; cooling of the nitrose gas with the simultaneous oxidization of nitrogen oxide II up to nitrogen oxide IV; condensation of the steam with formation of the nitric acid condensate; production of the production nitric acid by absorption of the nitrogen oxide, which has remained in the nitrose gas, by water with injection of the condensate and separation of the noble metals in from the nitrose gas. At that perform additional extraction of the noble metals: from ammonia with the oxygen-containing gas, from water and from the materials of the apparatuses into the nitrous gases, the condensate and the acid - with formation of the dispersive systems. Among the noble metals they extract: gold, iridium, palladium, platinum, rhodium, ruthenium and silver. As the materials of the apparatuses use carbon steels and-or the steels alloyed, and-or titanium and its alloys, and also firebricks and-or kaolin wool.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the additional technogenic extraction of the noble metals in the apparatuses of the installations for production of nitric acid.
