FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of antifriction materials by method of power metallurgy for use in different industries. Proposed method includes sintering of surface-sintering of porous metal skeleton made mainly of spherical particles of tin bronze onto steel backing in reducing medium, application of layer of fluoroplastic suspension to its surface and pressing it into pores of metal skeleton, drying of fluoroplastic suspension and its sintering in reducing medium. Fitted on surface of sintered or surface-sintered porous metal skeleton is elastic ring gasket of height Hn, and width B of 0.8-2.0 of Hn, and then inner volume of elastic ring gasket is filled up with fluoroplastic composition with concentration of polytetrafluoroethylene within 70-80 mass percent and produced by mixing fluoroplastic suspension and fluoroplastic powder after which layer of fluoroplastic composition is subjected to settling together with elastic ring, after which elastic ring is removed.
EFFECT: automation of cage riveting process at assembling of antifriction bearing.
