FIELD: mechanical engineering; antifriction bearings with seals.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antifriction bearing contains two races and cage with solids of revolution placed in between. Bearing is furnished with at least one seal whose edge is bent towards solids of revolution and is installed fro relative displacement with mating race, being arranged between mating race, cage and solids of revolution and axially elongated towards solids of revolution. Edge of seal in axial direction is made less than distance from end face of mating race and solids of revolution. Guaranteed clearance is formed between edge of seal and cage, and slot labyrinth is formed between edge of seal and mating race. Recess is made in cage from sides pointed to seal and ring mating with edge of seal. Edge of seal is fitted in said recess. Sizes of cage recess in axial direction are less than half of cage width and in radial direction, not greater than half of height of cage section. Shape of seal edge corresponds to shape of cage recess, and size of seal edge in radial direction is within the limits of distance between mating race and cage recess.
EFFECT: improved serviceability of antifriction bearing.
