FIELD: engine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: gear transmission comprises oval gear wheels (1) and (2) that are engaged and can move around their axes of rotation (4) which are fixed in space. The oval gear wheels have two symmetry axes. The greater symmetry axis (5) passes through points (6) of their periphery that are at a maximum distance from axis of rotation (4). The smaller symmetry axis (7) passes through points (8) of the periphery closest to the axis of rotation. All the oval gear wheels are the same. The perimeter of the dividing line is composed of four arc-shaped sections of the same length which are arranged diametrically and same in shape. The sections of the oval gear wheels that have points (6) of the perimeter which is at a maximum distance from the axis of rotation are convex and elliptic. The sections of the dividing line that connects them are symmetrical with respect to small symmetry axis (7). Each of the sections has point (8) of the perimeter of the oval gear wheel that is at a minimum distance from axis of rotation (4).
EFFECT: prolonged service life and enhanced loading capability.
