FIELD: valving.

SUBSTANCE: ball cock comprises housing and axially aligned inlet branch pipe and outlet branch pipe. The branch pipes are connected with the nipple provided with outer ring projection. The valving member is mounted in seats and connected with the spindle. The mating surfaces of the branch pipe and nipple are conical or spherical. The nipple is embraced by the flange for permitting contact of its face with the face of nipple projection. The flange has openings for connecting member. Both of the flanges are interconnected by means of tie rods passing through the openings.
