FIELD: tanks-containers transported by railway, sea and automobile transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed shut-off valve has sectional body with connecting flanges. One flange is connected with branch pipe. Second flange is located in center of valve body and is connected with tank-container; it has side holes for spindles of hand drives. Circular bore is made in outer surface of body near flange secured on tank. Provision is also made for changeable branch pipe with thread at the end and with flange. Mounted in succession inside body are three shut-off members: inner shut-off member made in form of valve, outer shut-off member in form of ball and additional shut-off member made in form of plug screwed on branch pipe thread. Inner and ball-type shut-off members are provided with independent hand drives. Inner shut-off member is sectional in structure; it includes main part spring-loaded for opening and pilot part spring-loaded for closing and coaxially connected with rod. Rod is engageable with mechanism converting rotary motion of drive into advance motion of rod. Flange connected to tank is provided with additional threaded holes for connection with flange of changeable branch pipe which is connected after damage of body over circular bore.
EFFECT: extended functional capabilities of drainage of liquefied gas from tank-container in an emergency.
