FIELD: method of detecting cracks in solid body.
SUBSTANCE: elastic vibrations are excited in solid body by means of impact influence at natural frequencies and values of oscillations are measured. Temporal realization of elastic oscillations at natural frequencies is registered. The realization is broke to sequent temporal sections and Fourier transform is calculated in each section. Maximal amplitude is determined in received spectrum which amplitude is compared with maximal amplitude of elastic oscillations in first temporal section. Amplitude spectrum is calculated from received standardized temporal sequence of maximal amplitudes. The spectrum is used to determined final differences of second order. Maximal value of those differences is taken as factor of presence of crack. Presence of cracks is judged from exceeded value of threshold value of the factor determined on the base of measurements for defect-free solid body.
EFFECT: simplification of procedure of measurement.
