FIELD: catalyst preparation methods.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides method for preliminary activation of catalysts for polymerization of C2-C20-olefins, wherein catalyst is first mixed with suitable monomer and then, if necessary, a relevant co-catalyst is added and resulting mixture is subjected to pre-polymerization in tubular reactor under turbulent stream conditions with Reynolds number at least 5000 and mean residence times between 1 and 5 min, after which thus preactivated catalyst is charged into actual polymerization reactor.
EFFECT: increased productivity and stability of polymerization over a very long period of time and improved morphology in thus produced polymers.
