FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to introduction of catalyst powder based on titanium compound, applied on magnesium halogenide as carrier, into gas-phase reactor of olefin polymerisation. Method includes: (a) storage of catalyst powder in atmosphere of liquid C3-C12-alkane, (b) removal of dosed amount of said catalyst powder from stage (a) by means of rotary valve, (c) transfer of said dosed amount of catalyst powder into catalyst activation section by continuous capturing flow of liquid C3-C12-alkane, (d) contact of catalyst powder with liquid phase, containing alumo-organic compound and external donor compound, in temperature interval from -20°C to 60°C, (e) introduction of activated catalyst powder into one or more gas-phase reactors of olefin polymerisation, where gas mixture, which contains one alpha-olefin, undergoes polymerisation.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to avoid occasional introduction of gaseous components, used in the process of catalyst powder storage, into activation vessel with negative effect of reducing efficiency of catalyst activation stage.
