FIELD: forestry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forest estimation facilities and it is designed for measuring sum of areas of cross sections of timber stands in value of their medium diameter per hectare. Proposed angle gauge has two relatively parallel mirrors installed for changing distance in between, with field of vision aligned with of vision of wedge prism in direction of sighting, being shifted in vertical downwards across sighting line.
EFFECT: provision of differential counting of trees and calculation of medium diameter of trunks of timer stands.
