FIELD: electrical engineering; current-collecting parts of electrical machines and apparatuses.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has fixed and revolving parts, as well as two slip-ring units performing functions of commutator and brushes with intermediate rings placed between them to make contact between slip-rings of units; diameter of intermediate rings is greater than difference in radii of slip-ring contacting surfaces. Shapes of contacting surfaces of slip-rings and intermediate rings is chosen to provide for holding intermediate ring in working position and to afford optimal contacting surface. Intermediate rings can be ganged by means of separator to hold rings in initial position.
EFFECT: eliminated distortions in transferring analog and pulsed signals due to maintaining constant contact resistance.
