FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: one should remove corneal disk of pathologically altered cornea. Then it should be substituted with a donor's keratotransplant at fixing with a suture. Biological tissue should be sutured up onto limbic area around keratotransplant and partially dissected conjunctiva. As biological tissue mentioned one should apply amnion's umbilical part. Amnion should be sutured up from internal side towards corneal ring, and from external side - towards episclera, so, that circular duplicature of amnion's umbilical part to be developed perilimbically in the center of amniotic ring. The innovation suggested enables to keep transparency of keratotransplant and avoid its vascularization.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of keratoplasty.
