METHOD FOR KERATOPLASTY IN PATIENTS AT HIGH RISK OF TRANSPLANT'S DETACHMENT Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61F9/07 

FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.

SUBSTANCE: one should remove a corneal disk of pathologically altered cornea, cut out a scleral flap in projection of the flat part of ciliary body. Under the cut flap one should carry out sclerectomy at opening a vascular membrane. Under a scleral flap one should apply an amnion and fix the flap with interrupted suture. Then comes the course of subconjunctival injections of medicinal preparation of immunosuppressive action into area of projection of sclerectomic foramen. The innovation suggested enables to prevent cicatrisation, provide direct access to ciliary body, create and maintain necessary concentrations of medicinal preparation in vascular membrane and in the moisture of anterior ocular chamber.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of keratoplasty.
