FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: amazed cornea of a recipient is exsected, a donor corneal graft is place in a surgery field and fixed to a cornea. Over a graft with limbus capture a disk of an amnionic cover is stacked. Over it a donor annular corneoscleral flap (level-by-level or through) is placed, found from the same donor eye from which the corneal graft is taken. An annular flap is fixed together with a disk of an amnionic cover by noose sutures capturing conjunctiva and episclera of recipient eye. The method provides prompt cuticularisation of a graft without disturbance of its sphericity and with minimum edema in a postoperative period.
EFFECT: more predictable transparent engraftment of a graft and reduced time for treatment of patients after operation.
